Meet The Committee of Management Team for CICWAI

A lifelong service and history to building communities, faith and leaderships all over Australia & Cook Islands with a long-term career in training and development within the mining industry. A man of God and Family with a vision to build a strong community, restore cultural values and promote unity for greatness. 

A heart for community service with a strong passion to empowering youth with their identity, faith and culture. Currently a founder and Director of The Angels Mission, operating a food relief program for local community members and organisations all over Perth, WA whilst serving as a Co-chair and Event Co-ordinator for the Ellenbrook Multicultural Community Festivals since it was founded in 2019. Formerly worked in Property Settlements and owned businesses since 17yrs old with a strong background in music entertainment, portrait photography, event planning and graphic design.

Strongminded and passionate for the culture and youth, Vicky has served on the main committee for the past 5 years with 2023 being the 6th year and third term in office.

Excellence in managerial tasks on a versatile level and an eye for detail.  

An active long-serving member and former President of the Cook Islands community of WA. A strong pillar in the foundation and also one of the pioneers to the Incorporation and legal structure of CICWAI today.

A core founder of the Cook Islands community and the very first member, the Committee of Management is upheld with another pioneer in our time and a long serving member since it's foundation.

Experienced in a strong working background with cultural community engagement on a local and state-wide level in Port Hedland shire.

Breaking barriers and making waves in the LGBTQ community by showcasing the arts of Cook Islands Culture all over Australia whilst tutoring, choreographing and also designing/making costumes for annual Te Maeva Nui celebrations that currently showcase up to 300 performers in total.

Multi-talented in many fields from techinical engineering to musical abilities and MC assignments for events on all scales, we get to witness events planned by Charlie with professional and stand-out platforms.

The youngest member to serve on the committee, Tahnayah delivered a very successful Easter sports event in her local community of Ellenbrook whilst engaging other youth to participate and also volunteer. Leading by example as a young and emerging leader of our up and coming generation.
