Volunteer

Throughout the year, our Association holds community events which is completely voluntary for all members involved and especially for the organising committees. Many roles include various tasks such as setting up venues or packing down, cooking sausage sizzles, helping out in food or merchadise stalls, topping up stock, rubbish collections, scanning of tickets, various stage production roles, cleaning and more.

If you would like to take part in volunteering for your community and help make a huge difference, please don't be shy to send a message below direct to our team!

Annual Event -
Te Maeva Nui

Every year, we celebrate Te Maeva Nui through a big stage production which continues to grow bigger and better.

If you'd like to perform (dance, drum/instruments or sing), you will be required to register as a member and can attend practices at your choice of location as we have two sub-committee groups under the Cook Islands Community known as Apa Tonga (Southside) which is based South Perth and Tua Tokerau (Northside) in North Perth for the convenience of members.

Committees

If you would like to get involved on our committees then a great starting point is getting in touch and getting involved with our sub-committees to get to know the community through their ongoing activities, fundraising and initiatives being carried out throughout the year. Sign up to be a financial member for the rights to vote and have a voice in general meetings as well as our Annual General Meetings.
